Last night was the opening of this year’s edition of Aqua Art Miami. Walking down Collins Avenue I noticed two things: first, the line to enter was practically a block long and second, the hotel was decorated with Aholsniffsglue‘s iconic eyeballs.
His work marks a milestone for both the fair and Miami Beach, because he is the first artist granted permission by the city to decorate a building with graffiti. This is a huge honor and accomplishment.
I have attended Aqua consecutively for the last four years and can safely say this is a stand out year for the fair. The galleries represented exceeded my expectations based on the variety of mediums, quality of work, and the range of affordability. Being a man of few words and little time I will allow the following photographs to speak for me.
