Preview-ArtPalmBeach Festival
ArtPalmBeach is one of the most exciting and exceptional art festivals in West Palm Beach. It typically hosts around 70 gallery exhibits and individual artist displays. In addition to paintings, sculptures, and photography, there are also films, meet the artist sessions, and lectures that you can attend. As this is their 15th anniversary, ArtPalmBeach has packed in a vast array of art from the United States and Europe. This year will also feature Japanese artist, Jun Kaneko, the ArtPalmBeach 2012 Visionary Award Recipient. CYT’s Production of Oliver
In November, I had the opportunity to see a children’s production of Oliver put on by Christian Youth Theatre of West Palm Beach. Unfortunately, children’s theatre doesn’t get a ton of respect for two reasons: 1) the children and 2) it’s theatre. People don’t hold the same regard for theatre like they used to and children get no respect at all (they’re like mini Rodney Dangerfields, the poor things).
