If you happen to be in Miami this Saturday, April 27th, you could be lucky enough to snag a ticket to the reggae night featuring Rawayana from Venezuela, Los Cafres from Argentina, and Cultura Profética from Puerto Rico.
These well loved bands have been around for years. Los Cafres started in the late 80’s and have since put together 14 albums of the best Spanish roots reggae. Rawayana was started over 12 years ago in Caracas. In 2011 they launched their first album, Licencia Para Ser Libre and they received the Best Reggae artist of the year in the Pepsi Awards of Venezuela. Closing the night is Cultura Profética with their socio-political and ecological messages.
No doubt it will be a night of reggae delight with latin flavor. The good people at SWARM will be hosting the event at Mana Convention Center in Wynwood, doors open at 7pm.
